Will Powers - Creator, DM, & Writer
Will grew up near Lincoln, NE and has always been naturally curious. He draws inspiration from places he has visited around the world, as well as from content creators that he is personally a fan of. Instead of taking the traditional route after high school, he opted to serve around the world and spent a year traveling and helping those in need. He loves travel so much that he thinks of his next adventure while he is on his current one.
For the last two years, he has been writing and planning this Podcast. He has a tenacious desire to be the type of man who sees something he wants, says, “yeah I can do that” and then does it. This podcast is his first step toward his dream job as a voice actor. His full time job is in Sales at a Tech Startup, but if the opportunity presents itself, he plans to transition to full time content creator. He is also currently building an audience on Twitch and Youtube under the name VoiceofWillPower. His ultimate goal is become financially independent and to create things like Today in Adventuring, while uplifting his community, and taking time to continue exploring the world.
Cody - Skondreag the Forgotten
Cody is a human male of a certain age. He has engaged in holy matrimony and loves her dearly. They have offspring of both genders that are becoming fine humans. He loves the creativity provided by D&D and the opportunity to play amongst finer men is rarely afforded.
He asserts that he is most likely forgettable but his prayer is that the joy found amongst all of adventures shall never drift far from your minds.
Isaac Maytum - Rafael Grendtich
Ike hails for the eastern region of Nebraska. His “adult hours” are spent as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician for the United States Air Force. His “not so adult hours” are a crapshoot. Anything from woodworking, music, and handyman duties for a local restaurant and anything in between.
While it might come as surprise, this is not his first time playing DND. He has been playing for about 2 years now, but yet retains no actual ability to play the game well. He is so thankful for the connections and outlet the podcast brings and is thankful for YOU… the person reading this. *high five*
Tyson Kohl - Toa Tagada
Tyson was raised in a small town in southern Nebraska. His dad was in the military so his home is wherever he goes! Currently he is serving as a missionary and training in Kona Hawaii, and will be leading a team of 8 people on a missions trip! He’s been to 5 countries besides the good ol’ USA.
The Aloha spirit thrives within him. The culture of the islands brings him much joy. Everyone he meets is his Ohana and he loves sharing his aloha spirit with those around him!
When he needs something to do he goes out and plays disc golf, practices martial arts, or gets his creativity going! (Drawing or music) Side note, this podcast really helped him grow a lot in the short time before he left! Those of you who listen to every episode mean the world to him and the rest of the crew!
Rich Powers - Swage Petala
Rich was a teacher for 30 years. He now works for a law firm. He loves God, his wife and his very creative family. Today in Adventuring is a great outlet for his creativity but he enjoys the camaraderie of his fellow adventurers and the dedication of our listeners the most. He is excited about the new arc and the new recording studio in his new home.
Ellie Powers - Karumeh Tagada
Ellie is new to the D&D world. She loves God. She and her friend have a young women’s ministry. Sushi, kickboxing, snowboarding, painting, and music are some of her favorite things in life. She is known for falling asleep halfway through movies, yet hates not knowing the conclusion. Ellie enjoys the quality time with family and the creativity that D&D has brought into her life
